You might remember that in January, a group of us impact pros got together to try to ready ourselves for America’s new political chapter.

Four months later, we’re checking back in.

With new voices and perspectives, we’re gathering on May 14th to explore the prompt: How can we navigate this unprecedented point in our sector and society as healthily and productively as possible, based on the insight we’ve already gained from working through social impact’s crises and uncertainty?

We’ll learn from Kym Watson, President & CEO of local community service organization Graham; Nagela Dales, Founder of social innovation studio OpenHouse; and Omar Hakim, campaigner, advocate, and Licensed Therapist at Apicha Community Health Center as they explore how their work in responsive community offerings, people-centered design, and mental health among marginalized communities can offer clues to surviving this era of impact work.

Plus, Robert Jay Ross of Cultivate will join us once more to give a snapshot of the impact career landscape as he observes it from his role as recruiter and coach.

The best part? These conversations will be captured for the Issue Space podcast, so we can revisit and share the gems again and again in the chapters ahead. (Including with our community outside of NYC! 💘)
